Our Story

SMITH/Associates was founded in 1994 by David and Patti Smith to help people and organizations work together better by building and strengthening relationships. SMITH/Associates is a small, woman-owned, San Antonio-based collaboration firm that provides partnering, facilitation, stakeholder relations, community engagement, and public outreach services to numerous governmental and private clients. SMITH/Associates is committed to working with our clients and the community to provide opportunities for creating solid working teams and sharing information.

Quality is important to our business because we value our customers. We are committed to a continuous improvement and are working to establish a quality management system that provides a framework for measuring and improving our performance.

Quality management at SMITH Federal Solutions begins with a company-wide drive to improve customer satisfaction by supporting our customers’ business goals. We develop effective processes for everything from research and development and product implementation, to sales and customer support, striving to create high-quality products and services, and implement ongoing improvements to meet or exceed quality standards.

As SMITH Federal Solutions strives towards an overall quality management system, it uses the standards and requirements of ISO-9001:2015 on which to base the development of its quality processes.
